  When you connect to the internet, programs can be installed without your knowledge. Internet firewalls and anti-virus software will not protect you from this threat. These programs are used by malicious companies or people to sell your personal profile (i.e. personal information, buying or surfing habits, etc.) to anyone who will buy it. Often, you will not even know that these programs exist on your computer unless you use TrueWatch. TrueWatch will periodically scan your machine and alert you to all software that will potentially spy on your behavior or information. It will then alert you to these programs and will give you the option to either delete them or quarantine them.
