  This application provides a new kind of freedom on the creative and aesthetic side, by imitating Pen & Ink drawings. This fast and flexible tool allow the user to create realistic drawings and also includes the classical retouching tools as aribrush, color correction, alpha masking, image warping, etc.
This system will benefits those with artist views and novices who want to create expressive drawings with easy and usefull tools.
The key feature of Gertrudis resides in the capacity to transform an image (generally photo) into its equivalent picture one, but instead of being obtained with solid tones, is obtained with an innumerable quantity of fine strokes. To do so Gertrudis work with two images: The Original and the Resultant image, and provide set of tools that enable the user to draw the strokes while it take care of preserve the tone indicated by the reference image.
