  QuasiDisk utility allows you to create RAM disks, File disks and virtual CDROMs. RAM disk dramatically improves the disk performance of all Windows applications. In tests run with the Intel Iometer benchmark, RAM disk shows over 50 times performance improvement over a standard Microsoft cached disk partition on the Windows NT. The contents of File disks are stored in a file on local drive or remote shared folder. You can format the disk using NTFS file system then set the flags for compressing or encrypting the contents. After that you will be able to use the advantages of NTFS file system no matter what file system is installed on a host drive! Also you can mount any available ISO image as usual CDROM in a few clicks.
