  The Audio Compression Manager component is designed to manage the entire process of converting sound files from one audio format to another with as little programming effort as possible. Specify the format to convert to either programmatically, or via an audio format choice screen presented to the User. Specify in code the existing audio file you want to convert and let this excellent component do the rest. All the audio formats avaliable on the client machine are loaded and organised into a logical object model to enable the developer to reference and pass audio formats to functions without requiring any knowledge of the details of the format. Can be used with any ActiveX-compliant programming language.
