It captures the data passing through your dial-up connection or network Ethernet card, analyzes the data and represents it in a readable form. ASIS also contains a special packet builder, through which you can build your own network packets and send them onto the network. This can be used, for example, to check your network for robustness against attacks and intruders. ASIS requires Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP and a network connection, which could include any wireless connection or modem that is supported by the NDIS standard.
